About the 90s slip gown
Are these real 1990s gowns?
Yes. They are original Galit Levi gowns from the designer's own collections, not modern reproductions. Each one exists once.
What does bias-cut mean?
The fabric is cut diagonally to the grain, so it drapes and moves with the body. It gives the slip gown its fluid line.
How do I know it will fit?
Sizing in the 1990s ran differently from today. Ask us for exact measurements, or try it on at our New York showroom.
Can the gown be altered?
Yes, alterations are available on request. A bias-cut gown can often be adjusted at the straps or taken in.
Why is there no price?
Archive gowns are priced individually. Use Request a Quote on the gown, or book a fitting and we'll share the details.
